Medical Emergency in the Netherlands: Urgent Family Relocation to the U.S.

When a serious medical condition required urgent relocation to the U.S., we secured expedited filing and consular processing so a husband could accompany his wife and child without delay.

When a serious medical condition required urgent relocation to the U.S., we secured expedited filing and consular processing so a husband could accompany his wife and child without delay.

A U.S. citizen living in the Netherlands with her dual-citizen husband (Indian and Belgian) and dual-citizen child (U.S. and Belgian) faced a serious medical issue requiring urgent treatment in the United States.

Given the humanitarian circumstances, we prepared and filed an I-130 petition for the spouse on an expedited basis and coordinated an expedited consular process. This allowed the family to relocate quickly so the U.S. citizen could receive necessary medical care, while ensuring her spouse could accompany her to provide support and care for both her and their child.
